1. About these terms
TOP Academy is operated by The Outsource People Inc. (“TOP”, “we”, or “us”). By using Academy, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, stop using the service. If you use Academy on behalf of an organization, you must have authority to act for it. Anyone who cannot enter a binding agreement independently should use Academy only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
2. The current learning experience
Academy currently provides a public catalog and self-study learning resources. Catalog sign-in is a demo using a fictional learner; it does not create a real account. Cart activity and demo enrollments are saved in the current browser tab. Course progress and practice notes are saved on your device and are not a permanent, verified academic record.
Real payments, graded submissions, and certificates are not currently available. Separate staff access through TOP Accounts is available only where enabled and authorized. Features and course availability may change as Academy develops.
3. Accounts and organization access
Use your own TOP identity for staff access, keep your sign-in details secure, and provide accurate information. Do not share credentials or impersonate another person. Access only the organizations, records, and administrative functions assigned to you. Notify TOP promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. Your employer or organization may set additional training and access requirements.
4. Responsible learning and use
- Use Academy lawfully and treat other learners, staff, and contributors respectfully.
- Do not bypass access controls, probe accounts without authorization, introduce malware, or disrupt the service.
- Do not submit confidential client information or personal information you have no authority to use. Use fictional examples in exercises.
- Do not misrepresent demo progress, self-review results, or another person’s work as a verified qualification or your own achievement.
- Do not redistribute or commercially exploit course materials without permission or another lawful basis.
5. Course materials and your work
Academy materials, branding, and course content belong to TOP, the relevant course provider, or their licensors. Subject to these terms and any resource-specific license, you may access materials for personal learning or authorized internal training. Access does not transfer ownership or permit resale, public republication, or removal of ownership notices.
You retain rights you already hold in your original practice work. The current learning tools save practice notes locally; they do not submit them to TOP for publication or grading. If submission features are added, any permissions needed for review or storage will be explained with them. Third-party materials remain subject to their owners’ terms.
6. Learning outcomes and certificates
Lessons, quizzes, XP, and self-review tools support learning. They do not guarantee employment, promotion, professional competence, accreditation, or a license to practise. Course content is educational and does not replace professional advice or your organization’s operating procedures. Any future completion certificate will have the scope and requirements stated for that course; do not assume external accreditation.
7. Prices, enrollment, and payments
Adding a course to the demo cart or selecting a demo enrollment does not make a purchase, charge you, or establish a paid booking. No payment details are collected through the current Academy checkout experience. If paid enrollment becomes available, the total price, currency, access conditions, and applicable cancellation or refund terms must be shown before you commit to pay. Nothing here removes rights available under applicable consumer law.
8. Privacy and third-party services
Our Privacy Policy explains account data, learning activity, cookies, browser storage, and privacy requests. Embedded videos and external resources may be operated by third parties under their own terms and privacy policies. TOP does not control their availability or content.
9. Availability and limits of responsibility
We aim to provide useful, accurate resources, but do not promise uninterrupted access, error-free content, or preservation of browser-only progress. Keep your own copies of work you need. To the extent permitted by law, Academy is provided as available without warranties about fitness for a particular purpose, and TOP is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service. These terms do not exclude liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Suspending or ending access
You may stop using Academy at any time. TOP may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address misuse, security threats, legal requirements, or changes to organization authorization. Where practical, we will explain the restriction and how to raise a concern. Signing out clears demo cart and enrollment activity; clear this site’s browser data separately to remove locally saved learning notes and progress.
11. Changes and governing law
Updates will be posted here with a new date. Material changes affecting registered users will be brought to their attention through an appropriate service notice, with renewed acceptance where required. These terms are governed by Philippine law, subject to any mandatory protections that apply to you. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. Contact TOP first so we can try to resolve a concern; this does not prevent you from approaching a competent authority or court.
